New Jersey native Tara Reid is well-known for her roles in the the American Pie series and National Lampoon's Van Wilder. The reformed party girl also made a name for herself in the tabloids in the early 2000s.
NJ.com briefly chatted with Reid just minutes before she hosted The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Casino & Hotel last weekend.
NJ.com: What are some of your favorite Jersey Shore memories?
Reid: Actually my favorite memory was that we had a beach house in Long Beach Island, L.B.I., so it's where we went every summer. So it's exciting, I haven't been here in years.
Being from New Jersey, was any of your family impacted by Hurricane Sandy?
Reid: No, because I live in California, but of course everyone was affected by it. My sister is in New York, and she had to change offices, and it was pretty horrible for everyone, but thank god it's recovering.
What's the best thing about being from New Jersey?
Reid: Once you're a girl from Jersey, you can never take the Jersey out of the girl.
What projects do you have coming up?
Reid: A lot more movies and a TV show that we are developing right now. We have a lot going on. The TV show we are doing now is called "Party's Over."
What's your favorite American Pie memory?
Reid: Class of 99'ers!
If you could go back in time and change one thing about your past, what would it be?
Reid: [slight pause, then giggle] I don't know, I can't even tell you.
