E! News anchor Jason Kennedy spent his first time in Atlantic City with his father, friend and friend's father as he hosted The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort and Casino. Check out what he had to say:
NJ.COM: How cool is it to be in Atlantic City?
KENNEDY: I've never been to Atlantic City before, I'm very excited for two reasons, because I like trying out new things in new locations and I also brought my dad, my best friend and his dad. We haven't done a guys trip like this in years, so we're having a good time. We got here yesterday.
What is one of your favorite interviews that you've done?
KENNEDY: Anything with George Clooney. You never know what he's going to say. One time I interviewed him and he made fun of my outfit for 7 minutes and I only had a 10 minute interview. So I came back and they were like, oh what did you get, and I'm like, well he didn't like my foam green sweater, so it was awesome. He is the greatest guy. I feel like the A-List stars get it. They are the nicest ones and it’s always a pleasure to interview people like them.
Recently you dressed as 50 shades of grey, what kind of feedback did you get?
KENNEDY: I got some pretty good feedback, but I can't take the idea as an original. We saw it somewhere and thought it would be fun to do. So my wardrobe stylist put it together. We put it on The Today Show and they liked it so I think it went over well. Then the day before that I dressed up as Kim Zolciak from The Real Housewives. She liked it, we got some good feedback from her, got her approval, so it was a win/win this Halloween.
You and your girlfriend Lauren are so cute, any plans on getting married?
KENNEDY: Oh man, you're putting a lot of pressure on me. We've been dating for about 7 months. Long distance is never fun but we've been seeing each other a lot lately. I'm going to be with her next weekend, and at this point we are gonna just keep going, hanging out more and more. She's the best and I am very blessed to be dating her.
Awesome, so what can we expect in your future?
KENNEDY: Hopefully more of this stuff. I love my job at E! News, I love contributing to The Today Show. I've been doing this since I was a kid, so it's really a dream come true to be in this position. Hopefully I can keep being welcomed into peoples homes and I really enjoy interviewing people.
