Paris Hilton came back to Atlantic City to host The Pool After Dark and chatted with NJ.com about her new song with Lil Wayne. Check it out:
NJ.com: Talk to us about coming back to Atlantic City, how exciting is this to be here at The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s?
HILTON: I love it, it’s really fun. Since I was little we considered Atlantic City like our Vegas, so when I was in high school we would always come out here and just gamble and have fun. It’s good to be out here hosting the pool party. It’s always has a great energy, fun music, cool crowd, so I think it’s going to be another fun night.
Tell us about all you are doing right now?
HILTON: I've been so busy, I’m about to release my new record with Lil Wayne called Good Time. It’s coming out next week, and I’m so excited about that. I’ve just been working on my 16th fragrance which is about to launch, and my 17 product lines, and opening my own hotels. So I’ve been very busy.
What about DJ’ing?
HILTON: I’ve been DJ’ing all around the world and just got back from Asia. I was on tour in Ibiza all summer and had a residency there at Amnesia which was amazing playing for 10,000 people every single night, it was such a cool feeling.
Do you want to DJ in Atlantic City?
HILTON: It would be fun. I’m doing it everywhere else.
What’s something people don’t know about you that they would be shocked to know?
HILTON: A lot of people wouldn’t know what a tomboy I am. I love to go fishing, I love going dirt bikes, and jumping out of planes, playing ice hockey, so I think people are used to seeing the more glamorous side of me, but when I’m at home I enjoy being around my animals and having fun.
Most of us look to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life but hardly ever get the chance to just relax with the family and enjoy mother nature.
Within driving distance to many of us here on the East Coast, especially in the tri-state area, there is a hidden gem that has been a vacation destination for over 100 years, called the Lake Naomi Club which boasts a rustic Bed & Breakfast Inn, the Northeast’s only Five-Star Platinum Club Community, and various family friendly attractions.
I recently had the opportunity to stay overnight and enjoy the property in it’s entirety. Boy was it much more fun and relaxing then expected.
Arriving at the lodge you automatically feel like it’s a place where you can rest your head, put away your phone, and just take in all the fresh air. Our room was situated within the 10 guestrooms of the main house and featured all kinds of fun amenities; which of course are rarely used since we were roaming the property most of the day and enjoying various activities.
Out in the woods, who would think that the food would be so delicious! Well it was! From gourmet country homemade breakfasts and dinners, to freshly baked pastries and smoothies, we were all in a food coma.
Driving through the property doing a tour of the facilities, there were all kinds of beautiful homes and cabins that could be dubbed as mountain retreats to some, and are available to rent and even buy, for the right price of course.
Upon entering the Lake Naomi Club, our eyes got big and our mouths dropped as we were in shock that there were so may fun amenities:
Sailing & Boating
Olympic Sized Pools
Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar
9 Hole Golf Course
Kids Club Program
Teen & Pre-Teen Activities
Swim and Sailing Lessons
Adult Recreation Programs
To name a few...
Also within minutes of the club you can do all kinds of fun things like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, golfing, water parks, shopping and more.
During one of our meals, we could see all the families laying out on the sand enjoying the sun, playing in the water, taking advantage of kayaking and other water sports available. According to the staff, the attendance was minimal compared to the key summer months. There are generations of families who make Lake Naomi Club their go-to family vacation destination every year. That’s how awesome it is!
If you are looking to relax and recharge, Lake Naomi Club is the best place for you!
ABOUT LAKE NAOMI CLUB (as per their bio): Records indicated that visitors from the metropolitan started vacationing at Lake Naomi as early as 1888, to enjoy the cool air and clean water. In 1902, as both rail and automobile transportation improved, people began arriving in even greater numbers.
In 1916, a premier camp for girls opened on the northern shore of Lake Naomi and continued until 1966. In 1963, the Logan Steele family purchased 2,600 acres surrounding the lake which began the current history of this community. Timber Trails was created in 1973 as a second generation sister community to Lake Naomi.
Today, Lake Naomi-Timber Trails community continues in the same tradition creating a value-oriented quality retreat where families and friends gather together.
In 2012, lake Naomi Club purchased the Mountaintop Lodge. This Lodge has experienced many incarnations since it's construction as "Between the Pines" in 1928. Over the years, the Lodge fell into financial neglect, which ultimately led to it's recent vacancy.
Following a major refurbishment and remodeling program, the eclectic mountain-sty
